About the craft and this edition:

Fore-edge painting is a heritage craft that is being kept alive by a few dedicated practitioners, it is a beautiful art-form that I am working hard to continue. I work primarily with second-hand books to give them a new lease of life, as with this edition of Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. This edition features a triad of paintings: Achilles’ Helmet, Patroclus and Achilles in the river and fresh figs.
