This design is centred around the storytelling methods of the novel - as the story unfolds through letter writing, emails and correspondence. The central character, Sybil Van Antwerp, is dedicated to her correspondence and to her garden, and the cover thus reflects themes of memory, vision loss and the grief of child loss
